Welcome to Burlington Produce, following the growing of vegetables in hardiness zone 5a. The average last frost dates are between May 11 – 20 and first frost dates are between Oct 1 – 10, Which means we have roughly 5 months of growing season for things like tomatoes, peppers and other frost sensitive plants. Starting plantings indoors or buying plants happens quite a bit in our area.
Until next time, grow on!
